Based in the La Trobe Valley region of Victoria, Y for Yorta Yorta, N for Naragu, Tweety Solomon and Aunty Jenny Solomon.The name BNYM (pronounced “Binum”) is an anagram of the tribes of the founding members: B for Bungalung, Shilo Van Sanden, the late Mary Edwards, BNYM Indigenous Designs was formed in 2001 by Sam Walker-Wilson, and M for Muttie Muttie. And for over ten years now, it has been doing just that. The aim of the company was to showcase the wealth of Gippsland Indigenous culture to national and international audiences.
